Itinerary

DAY 1 : MONTREAL - QUEBEC

Arrival in Montreal. Drive to Quebec and hotel check-in.

DAY 2 : QUEBEC

Visit Quebec, the city called the cradle of French civilization in North America and the only fortified city north of Mexico. Old Quebec was the first North-American city to be added to the prestigious UNESO World Heritage List, and for good reason: it is a privileged place out-of-time that attracts international attention. Explore the Old Capital and uncover numerous treasures: the Place-Royale and the Quartier Petit Champlain, stroll along the Governors’ walkway on the Dufferin Terrace, walk on the walls of the Old City and admire Chateau Frontenac. This historic city, with its huge cultural and architectural heritage and its unique site, can only dazzle you. Free time for lunch. Discover the Carnival of Quebec during the afternoon. Visit the traditional palace of “Bonhomme Carnaval”. Admire the snow sculptures, one of the city’s numerous attractions. Every year, sculptors from around the world come here to put their remarkable talents on display.

DAY 3 : QUEBEC - THE ICE HOTEL

You’re off to the Ice Hotel today, for a magical visit. This incredible work of art, made of ice and snow, will have you uncover a truly enchanted world. Free time for lunch in Quebec. Spend the afternoon at leisure and enjoy the pleasures of Carnival with its numerous activities: dog sledding, horse-drawn carriage rides, ice-skating rinks, cross-country skiing downtown, etc. In the evening, attend the Carnival parade in the streets of the city.

DAY 4 : QUEBEC - MONTREAL

Today, you leave Quebec and head for Montreal. Lunch will be served at a sugar shack, where you will taste traditional dishes cooked in maple syrup. This will be topped off by delicious taffy on snow. You then arrive in Montreal and have the rest of the day off.

DAY 5 : MONTREAL

Tour of Montreal: Place d’Armes, Place Jacques-Cartier, the Notre-Dame basilica, the Mont-Royal park, the Olympic stadium, where the 1976 games were held, and downtown where old, elegant buildings mix with modern sky-scrapers. The rest of the day is for you to discover the city at your own pace.

DAY 6 : MONTREAL

You get the whole day to yourself to visit, shop and maybe go for a lovely walk on Mount Royal. Dinner will be taken in the historical district. The magnificent XVIIth, XVIIIth, and XIXth century buildings in this area most certainly contribute to making it one of Montreal’s most precious treasures.
